In my continuing 'one new idea a day' plan, I wanted to write out something that in fact I've been thinking about for a while.
Welcome/How To Packets for everyone in the district. There's so much information that needs to be shared in this district and in this city that I intend to publish a booklet of information that includes a 'how to get things done' section for city agencies and a 'what's my neighborhood group' and when are public meetings and all that. It'd be great to inlcude a business listing for the district as well. Update it quarterly and hand them out all the time.
Of course, having all the info online as well.
