Looking good-
Another week down the campaign trail, and I'm feeling more and more optimistic. As I go around and meet with community leaders and neighborhood groups, I hear the same issues and concerns that have been on my mind for the last few years… There's a wave of district 5 folks who want to see some practical solutions and effective leadership, and I'm planning on helping that happen.
There are ways we can make this great city even better, and a lot of community groups have already figured out ways to do it, and it's time we get those solutions to our city department heads, and make sure they follow through on them.
My platform of local focus, effective communication and practical solutions with follow through seems to strike at the heart of everyone's hopes; from the most progressive people I'm talking with to the ones who would be considered the most conservative.
