What's the deal with 'permit expediters? the BOS seem to have fizzled out without doing anything about this craziness. Isn't it funny how things that seem so important during campaigns seem to lose 'political will' when the hard work and follow through have to happen?
So, instead of creating a new, clean system for the planning and building inspection department, the BOS was going to write some odd, 'expediter regulations'?? So, it's ok to have an uneven playing field and have insiders gain favors for certain permits if you can pay to play... but the 'consultant'/expediter whould have to register with the city?? how does that help?
sheesh. Don't make more wackiness, clean up the whole process!
