Just finished "Death By Meeting,A Leadership Fable" by Patrick Lencioni.
It's one of these nice little quick reads slanted to be read quickly by CEOs, with a little lesson buried in a 'fable' that speaks volumes about new ways of looking at old issues. It's the sort of book I was thinking of writing about the philosophy of efficiency.
I read it in about 3 hours, and I really liked it, and will keep the notes I took. How many of my competitors are reading about leadership and management, I wonder? If there's one thing I've learned through my work with other Supervisor's offices, it's that a lot of the job is about time and priority management... and communication. Leadership, in other words.
