Restaurant grades idea gets... an incomplete. Again.
So, the BOS talk about giving health inspection grades to restaurants. While I think it's sort of a limp way to explain the dangers of food poisioning to people (imagine what tourists from other countries would think..."eh, zey got a B. Vat dos dis mean? American schools give out grades too easy, dis must be a terrible place!" (note how I have no idea what accent that's supposed to be)
Wouldn't a number of 1-100 be more acurate? but then, what's an 82? does that mean there's an 18% chance of getting food poisoning? or you have to eat their 82 times before you see a rat run through the place? Or what?
But, even this limp idea can't get through the board. The restaurant folks know that 'health reports upon request' (the current system) doesn't do anything... heck, people barely have energy to look at a menu! and now they *might* have to post the report somewhere... big deal.
